The Favourite Five...Pink Polishes

Buying pink nail polishes is my guilty pleasure. I have about twenty (no exaggeration - go to my Instagram to see a picture of them all!) so picking out my favourite five was quite a task. I love them all, but the one's that have made this post have something that just makes them extra special...

BARRY M - NP 150

This is such a vibrant pink colour, and is just perfect for Spring and Summer. This is something I wear so much, but only needs a couple of light coats before it becomes a really strong colour, so this polish has lasted me so long. Are there dates on nail polishes? Because I'm pretty sure I've had this one for about five years.

SEVENTEEN LASTING FIX - SHERBET
_____________________________________________________________________________________

For starters, don't you just love the name of this one? So cute! Aside from that it is a really good nail polish. It has great staying power and doesn't chip easily at all. I've had this for so long, before the brand rebranded and became 'seventeen' not '17', so the packaging has changed, and the colour sherbet has been discontinued, however there are other pinks available in this formula, and I would recommend picking one up - I might even take a trip to Boots myself!

SEVENTEEN HIGH GLOSS - FRAMBOISE
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Now named the Supreme Shine range, this formula is so glossy it's just perfect, I love it so much. I remember buying this and I fell in love with it instantly. Framboise means Raspberry in French, so this colour is very true to it's name. It's not understated at all, but when I think of 'pink polish' I think of this colour. It's just so pink. The biggest downside to this product is the thickness of it - it's very thick, which doesn't make the easiest of applications, however the finish is so great I'll let it off!

JACK WILLS - J15
_____________________________________________________________________________________

I would never have thought to try a nail polish from Jack Wills as I previously only associated them with clothing. However I received a set of polishes for Christmas and was very impressed. I applied three coats of this shade, and wasn't optimistic about how long the would last, but I thought I'd give it a whirl - I was wrong to doubt, it was only after 10 days that it started to chip! 10 days! Considering it doesn't claim to be super long lasting I was very impressed. I love this colour of this polish as well. It's a very nude pink, almost a sparkly white, but I am a big fan and it has been a welcome addition to my collection. Considering this is a pricier brand, I am disappointed with a couple of things...a) The name, how uninventive and b) the packaging, the brush is really short, so you have to keep shaking the bottle so it is coated with polish for each nail, so the application process is pretty time consuming.

TECHNIC - PINK DAZZLE
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Who doesn't love a good glitter nail polish? I sure do. This one is prefect to glam up your nail polish without it looking too OTT. I think sometimes glitter can be neglected because people associate it with Christmas. I am kind of like that with gold and silver, but this pink is so lovely, I couldn't possibly let it get forgotten about. It doesn't flake or chip, and gives a very buildable coverage. I did a full review on technic polishes and a post about how to remove glitter nail polish easily so go check those out!
