Favourite Five Pieces in My Wardrobe

I saw something like this on my twitter feed the other day and it gave me an idea for a new blog post! Today, I thought I'd share my favourite five pieces in my wardrobe with you. They aren't all new buys, some I haven't worn yet, other's I wear on a weekly basis. It was hard to pick just five but I tried to pick a variety. Enjoy!

THE RIVER ISLAND JUMPSUIT

I must have bought this about two years ago. I picked it up in the River Island sale, and at the time I said I don't know when I'll wear it but I just don't want to leave it in the shop. I won't lie, I'm yet to wear it, but I do have ideas for it's first outing very soon. I loved the print, and I loved the back of it (got to find the perfect bra though!), and I still have nothing like it even two years later so I'm really glad I picked it up. It might be my favourite piece just because it's too good to wear!

THE BURGUNDY BLAZER

This is another oldie in my wardrobe, and a staple piece. It's so versatile, it's a good colour for summer and winter and I'd really miss it if it was gone. I think that's a sign of a really good piece of clothing - when you'd notice if it wasn't there. It's actually a little bit big for me, and acts more as a jacket than a tight fitting blazer, and I tend to have the sleeves rolled up but I like that.

THE EVERYDAY TEE

I wear this all the time at Uni. It's on a continual wear, wash, wear cycle. It's perfect for all this unpredictable whether, It's somewhere between a t-shirt and a jumper, is really comfy, really relaxed, and perfect with jeans for just the everyday. I don't know what else to say about it, except I really really like it.

THE KNIT DRESS
_____________________________________________________________________________________

A pretty new item in my wardrobe this one. A bargain in the Dorothy Perkins sale I have loved wearing this. It's super flattering. I tend to stay away from figure hugging dresses most of the time just because I feel like sometimes the exaggerate all the lumps and bumps I don't want exaggerating. But this one just sits really nicely, it's too clingy (I think the knit material really helps with that) and I love the sleeves - they are a great length.

THE PRINTED SHIRT
_____________________________________________________________________________________

I have quite a few shirts in my wardrobe of varying materials, shapes and designs. I picked this one out to make into my favourites because it's probably my most worn. Probably bought this about four years ago, and lets be honest, from when I was 16 I would say my chest has expanded somewhat, and consequently it's a little but tight - oh well! I either wear it unbuttoned hallway down, or most often, wear it under a jumper. I actually prefer it this way anyway because it shows of the lovely collar detail.

That's it for today! Hope you've enjoyed it!
Catch you later!
